We bought this Succession Property with foundation issues in Kenner

We bought this house in Kenner recently. The house was very dated and full of unwanted belongings which is ok with us because we buy houses in As Is condition. There was also a foundation issue with the property. A foundation issue will scare a lot of buyers off so it can be difficult to sell a house with foundation issues. We deal with foundation issues all the time so it doesn’t scare us off. We have the skills, resources and network to fix these problems. We like buying houses like this as it allows us to add value to the property so it works as an investment while at the same time allowing the seller to turn a property that is hard to sell into cash.

This property was also inherited and was in the middle of a complicated succession. We buy a lot of inherited houses and are very familiar with the succession process so we were fine to go under contract with the heirs and wait for the succession to be complete before closing. In this case the sellers already had an attorney working on the succession but most of the time we get our Title Attorney to do the succession as part of the sales process.
