I’m here at a property we closed on last Friday. It’s a new property, we’re on the West Bank of Jefferson Parish. We’re in Westwego. The seller had reached out to us, it’s actually her grandmother’s house. It took some damage during hurricane Ida, and they were looking to sell it. I will show you around, and you will see that it’s not ready to be sold to a homeowner. It’s dated, and has suffered a lot of damage from Ida. So, they just wanted a cash offer and wanted to sell the house in as is condition. We paid them what they were after, and now, the property is ours.

It actually was full of a lot of belongings, but we cleared it out on the day of closing. The kitchen needs to be redone, the roof came out, there was water all over the floor. The roof in her niece’s bedroom actually came off due to the hurricane.
