We stopped the Foreclosure on this property

The owner of this house reached out to us as they needed to sell their house before Foreclosure. The Foreclosure was in a matter of days so they needed to sell their house fast. We got out to the property the next day to see if we could help and we ended up closing on it before the foreclosure. We understand that it is stressful and scary when you are facing foreclosure and we are here to help give you more options to deal with it.

At the time of filming we weren’t sure if we would be the buyer as it was our first time seeing the property but we did end up being the buyer. You can also see the video transcript below.

Steve: Hey guys, Aussie Steve here from Home Buyer Louisiana. We buy houses in any condition in Louisiana. I’m here at a property in Ponchatoula, checking it out. We received a call yesterday about this house that is unfortunately facing foreclosure. The sheriff’s sale is next week, so they really need to sell. We hustled out here to have a look.

I’m here with Courtney Fricke. She’s my partner on some deals. Courtney, do you want to talk about the story behind this property?

Courtney:  Yeah, sure. We got a phone call yesterday. You can see, we got the call on Wednesday, and the auction is scheduled for next week. Time is of the essence. They’ve tried some options already, but nothing has worked. Now they’re down to the wire. Usually, even with a cash offer, selling a house takes around two to three weeks through the normal route. But in this case, they need speed.

The thing is, everything they’ve tried so far hasn’t worked. That’s why they called us. I’ve been working with pre-foreclosures for nearly 10 years now, and one thing I’ve learned is that you have to come here, assess the situation, and offer solutions. Obviously, there are some condition issues with this house. We came to look at it yesterday, ran the numbers, and thought about how we could help this family. At the end of the day, we’re here to help.
