But like many people before them, they fell in love with the culture of New Orleans and decided to make the move permanent. Steve had invested in some rental properties in Australia and wanted to do move in property for his next business so he presented his business plan for Home Buyer Louisiana to the US embassy and was granted a business investment visa to be able to live in the USA and build the Home Buyer Louisiana business,

The rest is history with Steve building the Home Buyer Louisiana business, focused on purchasing run down properties to revitalize neighborhoods and make housing available for tenants and home owners. Home Buyer Louisiana has now purchased over 150 properties in Louisiana. Some of those were kept as rental properties and others were flipped to new owners. We now have a great team that is focused on continuing to buy problem properties and revitalize neighborhoods. Home Buyer Louisiana now has 4 full time employees along with a large network or contractors, renovators, title attorneys, property managers and investors. We are focused on making the next 150 property purchases much more quickly.
