Can you sell a house that is half way through a renovation?

If you have the time, money and expertise we recommend you finish the rehab because if its updated and ready for a homeowner you will get top dollar. We understand though sometimes there are personal reasons that just mean it is better for you to sell as is and let someone else finish it off. Maybe you are just sick of the rehab, , you don’t have the funds left to finish or you need to move out of state and can’t wait. We get it and are happy to buy houses like this as is. Hey guys, Aussie Steve here from Home Buyer Louisiana, we buy houses in any condition in Louisiana. I’m here at a property we’re purchasing on the West Bank of Jefferson Parish in Marrero. We actually have a lot of properties in Marrero; we really like the West Bank.
The seller reached out to us; they’ve owned it for a while but they’re looking to sell. They were rehabbing the property but they’ve had enough. They don’t really want to finish it. They’ve spent enough money, and they just want to move on, so they wanted to sell it to a cash house buyer who would buy it in as is condition and finish the Rehab which is something we’re always happy to do.
If you’ve seen some of the videos of properties we buy, then you will know it’s not too bad by my standards. As you can see, they’ve not finished the paint job, it’s quite patchy and it’s going to really need to be updated in the kitchen. Also, there are few holes in the wall. Again, by my standard, this isn’t too bad at all, definitely not a project I’m scared of. We take on way bigger projects than this, but just for the seller they just didn’t want to finish it off. They didn’t have the money, time, resources and energy, and we’re able to offer them a number that worked for them and for us, so we’re proceeding to buy it.
We haven’t closed yet; we’re just getting the title worked out, and we’re coming in just to get our plans on what we’re going to do with it, but we should close within the week. So, guys, if you have a house you are looking to sell, maybe something like this where you’ve started a project but don’t want to finish, or a property with a tenant in place, or it’s a property you’ve inherited and you just don’t want to fix it up and clear it out, we’ve got you covered. We buy in as is condition which means you don’t need to make repairs and also means you don’t need to clear it out. You obviously get to take all the things you want, but if there are things you don’t want, you can just leave them in the house, and we’ll deal with them.
