We bought this house in Covington for cash in As Is condition. It is a nice house but had sustained water damage and needed to be repaired. The owner just wanted to sell the house fast in As Is condition and we ended up agreeing to buy it and closed within 2 weeks. Hey Guys, it’s Aussie Steve from Home Buyer Louisiana. I just came from closing on this property. We’re in Covington on the Northshore, and we just bought this house from the owner. She had owned it with her family for a little while, and she was ready to move on. She wanted to move in with her parents and help look after them.

The house is in pretty good condition actually. For those of you who’ve seen the houses we buy, you would know we often buy them in pretty bad shape. But there were a few things that she really didn’t want to have to fix because of the money and the time. There had been a burst pipe from the bathroom that was fixed, but unfortunately, it had done a lot of damage. It caused water to trickle into this bedroom and as a result ruin the flooring. This obviously needs to be fixed and there are a bunch of other things that need to be done as well.

She didn’t want to spend the time and money to fix those things and then list with a realtor, pay realtor commissions, then wait for people’s bank financing to get approved. She just wanted to sell the house really fast. So, she reached out to us, and we were able to come to terms that worked for her, and we paid all cash. We bought it in as is condition.
