Joseph loved how “Quick & Easy” it was to sell his house

Joseph contacted us when he was ready to sell his house in Algiers. The home had taken a beating over the years, and Hurricane Zeta had caused even more trouble. The roof had started leaking, which led to water damage and mold in one of the rooms. There was also termite activity and the typical aging you see in older West Bank homes. Joseph didn’t want to take on repairs, inspections, or a long waiting period. He wanted a simple, fast sale so he could move forward.

He was also preparing for a major life transition. He planned to move to Mississippi to live with his girlfriend and didn’t want to deal with sorting through years of belongings. The idea of being able to leave behind what he no longer needed was a relief. That’s one of the benefits of selling to us: homeowners take what they want and leave the rest to us.

We walked the property, made him a cash offer that fit his situation, and began working with the title company right away. Then Hurricane Ida hit the next week, closing offices across New Orleans and knocking out power for days. The house took on even more storm damage. For a traditional sale, that would have meant delays, renegotiations, or canceled contracts. But Joseph didn’t have to worry about any of that. Because we had already agreed to buy the home as-is, the added damage didn’t change the plan or the price.

As soon as city offices and title services reopened, we moved everything forward and closed right on schedule. Despite the storms and uncertainty, Joseph was able to move on quickly, without repairs, clean-out, or extra stress. It was the kind of straightforward experience he had been hoping for during a chaotic time.

Selling your house to Home Buyer Louisiana?

It was quick and easy, and for someone like me, that’s exactly what I needed.

And obviously we had Hurricane Ida come through in the middle, and we got a little bit more damage, right? But nothing too major. It didn’t really stop anything, did it?

No, it didn’t. I mean really, it just went perfectly.

Perfect, perfect. Well, I’m glad you trusted us and I’m glad we could make a deal happen.

Oh thank you, thank you so much.

Thank you.
