We bought this termite infested house that was full of junk

We bought this house in Chalmette. The property was once a lovely family home but had been vacant for 3 years due to the owner passing away. It had been inherited by 5 heirs who lived out of Louisiana. With no termite contract in place the termites had taken over the house. They were in every room including the ceiling of this 2 storey home. While the family had taken the things they wanted from the house, it had a lot of leftover junk throughout the property. The house had also been broken into and represented a liability risk to the heirs.

The house had great bones and was located on a nice street in Chalmette. This house definitely deserved to be brought back to its former glory for another family to grow up in and enjoy. We were able to work with the heirs to purchase the property. They hadn’t gone through succession yet so we drew on our network to be able to help the family go through succession as part of the sales process. We bought the home AS-IS and will clean out the house ourselves so the heirs don’t have to lift a finger and can all just receive a check from the sale and move on.
