Selling an Inherited Property With Multiple Heirs in Mid-City New Orleans
Inherited properties can become complicated when multiple family members are involved, especially when communication has broken down. In this Mid-City New Orleans case near Bank Street, a boarded-up double was inherited by three sisters, but only two of them are currently speaking to each other. Situations like this often require help with selling an inherited property and navigating succession issues.
Because all three sisters are heirs, sorting out the ownership and documentation requires additional work. On top of the title issues, the vacant property has generated complaints from neighbors and accumulated fines from the city, adding even more pressure to an already difficult situation. In cases like this, homeowners often need help selling a house with title issues.
In this video, Dillon King explains how Home Buyer Louisiana helps homeowners navigate complex inherited property situations. From succession challenges to unwanted houses with legal or city-related issues, the team works to find solutions for sellers who need to move on from burdensome properties.

What’s up, everybody? Dillon King with Home Buyer Louisiana. I’m in Mid-City today, really close to Bank Street. We have a double here that was inherited by three sisters. Only two of them are speaking to each other.
They don’t want the property anymore, and it’s going to be a little complicated because all three are heirs. We’re helping them figure out the documentation since they haven’t been able to get in touch with the third sister. They’re not on speaking terms, so we’re helping them work through all of the legalities.
What I’m here to say is that it doesn’t always have to be a super easy title or ownership process. We have a lot of resources here at Home Buyer Louisiana and years of experience helping people through difficult situations and getting these unwanted properties off their hands.
As you can see behind me, the home was completely boarded up. I had to come here with some tools to get everything open. A neighbor even ran over to give me a mask because of recent public disturbances and the potential chemical and other hazards that could be inside. I’m grateful to the neighbors for that because I definitely didn’t have a mask.
It doesn’t have to be a simple situation. That’s where we come in strong. We help get these burdens off your hands. These situations can be very complicated, and every case is different.
If you have a property, whether it’s an inheritance where the heirs are not on speaking terms, title issues, or something else entirely, we’d like to help. This particular property has had numerous complaints from neighbors, and there are even fines from the city attached to it.
Whatever your situation may be, get in touch with us and let’s see what we can do for you. We’re going to buy this house as quickly as we can, and we’re going to buy it for cash.
Go to HomeBuyerLouisiana.com and let us know what you’ve got going on. We look forward to helping you.
