What’s up everybody, it’s Jon again with Home Buyer Louisiana. I am in a gutted house in Westwego — we love Westwego and really all of the West Bank. This one’s actually one of our colleagues who’s another investor. It’s just another project that he picked up and decided he wanted to do something else with.

It’s pretty standard issue. The framing may have to be redone since some of the wood is a little eaten up by termites — not too bad though, I’ve seen way worse. But yeah, we like houses like this because we buy houses in As Is condition. They are pretty much a clean slate, so they’re easy to work with.

You can see there are a couple of spots that will need some work where the walls are coming apart.
