We bought this inherited Metairie rental property

We’re in Jefferson Parish, in Metairie. This property came to us as an inherited property. Unfortunately, the seller’s wife had passed away. This house had been a rental for 26 years, with a friend living in it. The seller was specific about selling it and even put the tenant in a trust.

We dealt with the estate, which had an independent administrator and some family members involved. They wanted to sell the property without fixing it up. Many people looked at this property, including us, but the sellers appreciated our straightforward approach. We were able to offer a number that worked for them, and we closed in about 20 days. They liked that they could sell the house fast without needing to clean up or fix anything.

The location in Metairie is nice, but the house needs renovation. The kitchen and bathroom, in particular, haven’t been updated in decades.
