We bought this inherited house without having been inside

We bought this inherited house without having been inside it. Our seller didn’t live in the town and didn’t want to go back there. It was once his fathers house and had been his brother more recently. Unfortunately his brother had passed away and he had inherited the property. The brother had been renovating the house and it was gutted on the inside and deteriorating on the outside. The owner thought the house was open so I went to look at it but I couldn’t get access inside. We understand that he didn’t want to come down to the house and we try our hardest to make life easy for our sellers. I was able to look through the windows and see the condition of the house. It was gutted so it made it easy. This was enough for us to be able assess the house and we were able to come to terms with the owner on a cash price that afternoon.

We know what’s it like when you inherit a problem property that you don’t want to deal with. If you have an inherited home you want to sell then reach out to Home Buyer Louisiana to see if we can help. We will buy it as is and are OK with you leaving anything behind that you don’t want to deal with. If you haven’t gone through succession and got the title in your name yet that is OK. Our title attorney can organize this as part of the sales process and you can use the proceeds of the sales to pay for the succession so you won’t be out of pocket.
